HOKUBEMA Maschinenbau GmbH is a family-run company that develops and sells both reliable and innovative woodworking machines for PANHANS, as well as for the WOODPECKER brand. As a competent specialist company, we offer a wide range of services related to wood and plastics processing. Our passion lies in the further development of valuable raw materials, because (creating) working with our hands not only gives us pleasure, but fills us with pride.
Our company, which is steeped in tradition, combines many years of professional knowledge with state-of-the-art requirements and develops innovative solutions. Under our more than 100-year-old PANHANS brand, we offer high-quality machines for craftsmen who, like us, have found their passion in wood and plastics processing.
The BECK team
behind HOKUBEMA
In 2010, Reinhold Beck (pictured right) founded HOKUBEMA Maschinenbau GmbH alongside his company BECK Maschinenbau GmbH. His new company takes over the PANHANS brand, which has been in existence since 1918, and has been developing, producing and distributing it ever since and continues to be sold. Since 2018, his cousin Alexander Beck (pictured left) has been firmly at his side as operations manager. A strong team that also tackles itself and looks to the future in an innovative way.

2012
Development of the V91 by PANHANS
The innovation on the market is here: Positive and negative thruchings can be carried out with the PANHANS V 91 | 10 in unchanged workpiece position. The workpiece no longer has to be painstakingly turned.
2014
Opening of the showroom in Sigmaringen
By opening the showroom, customers now have the opportunity to test and take a close look at machines before buying them. On site, competent consulting staff and the variety of our machines await you.
2015
Development of the 680s series of PANHANS
The format circular saw of tomorrow: Safe, economical and user-friendly. The combined know-how of experienced and competent PANHANS technicians can be found in this series of models.

Opening of the first HOKUBEMA professional center
Barely six years after its foundation, HOKUBEMA's first professional center is built. Here's everything that makes the craftsman's heart beat faster.

Presentation of the new touch control
The world is becoming more modern, more technically-savvy and more user-friendly – so are our machines. Touchscreens can now be found not only on your smartphone or tablet, but also our machines are equipped with professional touch control.
2019
New brand on the market: WOODPECKER
In 2019, the time has finally come and we can introduce our new WOODPECKER brand semi machines: High quality woodworking machines for the semi sector.

Anniversary year: 10 years of HOKUBEMA
In 2020 we will celebrate our 10th anniversary of HOKUBEMA Maschinenbau GmbH.

HOKUBEMA TV: Start of our live streams
In mid-March 2020, we decided to launch our live streams instead of the HOLZ-HANDWERK trade fair in Nuremberg, which was actually scheduled to take place at this time but was postponed. Since then, weekly live YouTube broadcasts have been taking place in our showroom in Sigmaringen in southern Germany.
