With its extra robust design, the PANHANS band resaw TBS 800 R is designed to accommodate 80 mm wide band saw blades and to produce precise straight cuts in solid wood as well as glued solid wood.
The powerful 11 kW three-phase motor delivers the required performance and best cutting results when ripping larger cross-sections, for example in the field of wood construction.
The 800 mm diameter saw wheels are made of solid cast steel, precision turned and balanced. The band saw blade is guided by special sliding guides above and below the table, whereby the guide above the table can be adjusted to the workpiece height.
The solid and generously dimensioned machine table with finely planed surface is equipped with a replaceable aluminium table insert.
The fence to the left of the bandsaw blade is a roller fence that can also be adjusted to the workpiece height.
Feed is via a stable unit with 10-step feed rate (standard) or infinitely variable (option). The feed is transmitted by a helical toothed and hardened roller. A rubberized roller is also available as an option.
The total machine table length is 2330 mm in the standard version. Longer roller conveyors are also available as an option.
The machine has an integrated bandsaw blade cleaning and micro-lubrication system via metered liquid tank and felt lining. The bandsaw wheels are equipped with a dust and resin scraper.
The machine is equipped with all necessary guards and safety devices.

Feed unit with automatic pneumatic adjustment. The feed rate of the toothed steel roller can be selected in 10 different steps.
CONTROL PANEL
The operating elements with the control buttons are clearly arranged and placed at an ideal working height. This ensures efficient and ergonomic working.
SAW BLADE LUBRICATION
The band resaw has automatic saw blade lubrication via a felt lining and meterable lubricant tank.
BANDSAW WHEELS
The bandsaw wheels are made of solid cast steel and dynamically balanced for flawless and smooth running.
TABLE TOP
The finely planed table top is made of steel with an infeed and outfeed roller conveyor table. In addition, the table inserts are interchangeable.
PROTECTIVE DOORS BOTTOM - TOP
The safety doors are protected with a safety switch and include the robust double-chamber welded construction.
SUCTION NOZZLES
Two powerful suction nozzles ensure optimum suction both when sawing and ripping.
EMERGENCY STOP SWITCH BRACKET
Additional protective device for the operator.
FOOT SWITCH WITH LATCH
The foot switch with latching function is used to open and close the roller feed unit and can be placed individually.

STABLE FEED UNIT
The feed unit type SR 026 P is part of the standard equipment and can be pneumatically adjusted in width. A maximum opening of 250 mm to the right of the sawblade and a maximum opening of 230 mm to the left of the sawblade is possible between the feed unit and the sawblade. The feed rate can be adjusted in 10 steps (optionally also infinitely variable).

FINEST CUTS
The saw blade guide is one of the most important components of the band resaw. PANHANS also uses a design with stable and optimally matched components here. Cutting height and width can be quickly and easily adjusted to the workpiece to be machined. The helical toothed and hardened roller at the feed ensures a reliable feed to the saw blade.

ROLLER CONVEYOR
The roller conveyor with infeed and outfeed is equipped with a safety device. This consists of several modules. The infeed is equipped with an emergency stop rip cord and an additional protective bracket with emergency stop function. An emergency stop button is located in the outfeed area.

CENTRAL CONTROL PANEL
All important settings are made via a centrally mounted control panel. The operation is clear and easy to understand. The push-switch unit with automatic star-delta start and emergency stop switch also has an automatic motor brake with main switch and motor protection switch.
