The sliding table saw 680|100 developed by PANHANS is used for precise and reliable trimming, cutting to length, sizing and mitre cutting of wood, plastics and similar materials in the joinery or workshop.

Only high-quality components are used in the manufacture of this robust and solid machine in Sigmaringen in the south-west of Germany. The machine has a dimensionally stable and self-supporting machine body, a torsion-resistant grey cast iron table top with a finely planed surface and double-guided swivel segments made of grey cast iron. Thus, the machine has everything it needs for precise and reliable continuous operation.

The 680|100 has already proven its worth in countless operations, even for heavy-duty and standard machining of large-format workpieces and panels.

A smooth-running and maintenance-free double slide table (ball-bearing mounted and extra stable) with precise and backlash-free running over the entire length guarantees optimum support and workpiece feeding on the front. This can be extended for large panels with the lightweight yet stable cross-cut carriage, on which the cross-cut and mitre fence including angular fixed grid can also be mounted.

On the right-hand side of the saw blade is a solidly constructed, manually fine-adjustable rip fence with clamping device and a stop profile that can be folded down for narrow and flat workpieces.

The robust and powerful saw unit and the double ball-bearing saw shaft guarantee sawing cuts of the highest precision. The circular saw blade can be tilted by up to 46° at the touch of a button and can be completely lowered under the tabletop via the motorised height adjustment. The integrated APA quick-change system ensures a fast and smooth saw blade change.

The model has ergonomically mounted display and operating elements, a full range of basic equipment and is, of course, equipped with all the necessary guards and safety devices.
