The PANHANS 690|200 sliding table saw has an extra-sturdy, solid and maintenance-free double slide table, which is particularly suitable for solid wood processing and ensures backlash-free running over the entire cutting length of 3200 mm.
However, the operation of this model is carried out via a 7" touch screen control placed at eye level, which allows the tilt and height of the saw blade as well as the position of the rip fence to be positioned by electric motor. The cutting width of the rip fence is 1250 mm. The operating panel with the integrated control is also tiltable and equipped with a practical template holder.
The touchscreen control of this machine is equipped with numerous intelligent features. These include, for example, the visualisation of the speed and axis positions, communication with the connected modules, various mechanical and electrical safety interrogations, a multilingual menu, operational and safety-related status and fault messages, as well as operation and calibration of the optional scoring saw.
Like all other sliding table saws from PANHANS, the 690|200 model also has a dimensionally stable, self-supporting machine body (manufactured as a stable welded frame construction made of thick-walled steel profiles), a finely planed grey cast iron table top, a strong and robust saw unit, dynamically balanced, double-guided swivel segments and a double ball-bearing circular saw shaft. High precision, absolutely smooth running and a long service life are thus guaranteed.
The machine fulfils all safety requirements specified by the German employers' liability insurance association and is already generously and exclusively equipped with high-quality basic and additional components in the standard version.

CROSS-CUT FENCE
On the cross-cut carriage with mm scale and magnifying glass as well as telescopic extension. Extendable up to 3200 mm, including 2 robust and backlash-free flip stops.
RIP FENCE
Motorised rip fence with a cutting width of 1250 mm is located to the right of the saw blade. The target values are entered to 0.1 mm at the top of the control panel via positioning control. The fence can be folded away to free up table space. Equipped with an additional safety cut-off bar in case of crushing hazard between rip fence and slide table.

7" TOUCHSCREEN CONTROL
The swivelling control panel is ergonomically positioned at eye level. Equipped with template holder and 7" touchscreen control for cutting height, tilt adjustment and speed.

SOLID PANHANS SLIDE TABLE
The ball-bearing mounted and extra stable double roller slide table is smooth-running and maintenance-free. The hardened and ground round steel guides ensure precise and backlash-free running over the full length. This slide table is particularly suitable for solid wood processing.

TOUCHSCREEN CONTROL
The touchscreen enables convenient operation. Positioning sequences and command inputs can be controlled directly by touching the smooth monitor surface. As there are no individual buttons and therefore no gaps, the control unit is largely insensitive to dust, dirt and moisture. Particular emphasis is placed on intuitive operation.

SWIVELLING SAW BLADE GUARD
The swivelling saw blade guard with integrated extraction and replaceable insert offers optimum safety. The user can choose between the interchangeable inserts narrow for the 90° position and wide for the 45° inclined saw blade position.

SCORING UNIT AUTO EPS
Electromotive positioning for lateral and height adjustment, including the parking position behind the main saw blade. Larger saw blades can be used without removing the scoring saw blades. The scoring saws are not in the dirt area. When activated, the unit moves to the stored setting positions.

The optional laser device is used for optical visualisation of the kerf on the workpiece, e.g. for cuts on scribe marks or for trimming cuts of boards with tree bark. The laser is attached to the saw blade guard.
