With the large PANHANS sliding table saw 680|200, precise woodworking becomes child's play, because the axes for height and tilt adjustment of the saw blade as well as the massive rip fence can be positioned by electric motor with the innovative touch screen control. The positioning is accurate to 0.1 mm or 0.1°.
The machine is operated via a tiltable control panel placed at eye level, which also houses the intelligent touchscreen control. The control is not only used for axis positioning. It also stores all machine parameters and outputs safety-relevant faults, warnings and messages on the operating status. The status of the machine is permanently monitored and all components are interrogated. As soon as something is wrong, the safety mechanisms are triggered; the machine is stopped immediately and the screen tells the operator what to do to solve the problem.
The rip fence to the right of the saw blade automatically positions to cutting widths up to 1250 mm and can be folded away to free up table space.
The telescopic cross-cut fence on the cross-cut carriage can be extended by up to 3500 mm and has a millimetre scale, two sliding flip stops and an end stop with support for long strips. It can also be used for angle and mitre cuts with continuously adjustable angles from 0 to ±46° with mechanical length compensation as well as via a fixing grid for the common mitre angles 15°, 22.5°, 30° or 45°.
The solid quality of the machine body with finely planed cast iron machine table as well as the saw unit, circular saw shaft, slide table and cross-cut carriage guarantees high reliability and precision when trimming, cutting to length, sizing, mitre cutting of wood and plastics as well as a long service life of the machine.
Safety is generally a top priority with this machine. In addition to all the safety devices prescribed as standard, many other safety features are integrated. For example, the electric motor-driven adjustable rip fence is equipped with a safety shut-off bar. This prevents people and objects from being crushed or jammed between the rip fence and the slide table by abruptly switching off the positioning.

The saw blade with a maximum diameter of up to 450 mm can be tilted from 0° - 46°.

7" TOUCHSCREEN CONTROL
Capacitive touchscreen (scratch and impact resistant), can also be operated with gloves. With language menu for German, English, French and Dutch (other languages on request).
ELECTRONIC POSITIONING
Both the height and the tilt (from 0° - 46°) can be positioned electronically via the touchscreen. The rip fence and the scoring unit are also electronically controlled.
LATERAL EXTRACTION
The extraction unit was moved to the side to achieve a significantly more efficient extraction performance.
RIP FENCE
The rip fence can be electrically controlled to the exact position required.

Smooth-running double roller slide table with precise running.
CROSS-CUT CARRIAGE WIDENING

MOTORISED RIP FENCE
The digitally adjustable rip fence is electrically driven via a ball screw and can be moved from its initial position to any position via the 7" touch screen without having to walk around the machine. The fence can be folded away in the parking position. In the parking position, the rip fence can be folded away.

Thanks to the flat-mounted, digital angle adjustment, the cross-cut fence can be set to up to 46° on both sides and the workpiece can be positioned on it without any conversion. The cross slide runs in exactly one line straight along the saw blade.

SWIVEL-AWAY DEVICE
The unit swivels the cross slide, including the mounted cross-cut fence, into the parking position behind the machine table. This can be operated quickly and safely by a single person. Swivelling away creates free access directly next to the slide table.
