With the PANHANS tilting spindle moulder type 245|200, you will always work efficiently and economically in your joinery, carpentry or workshop, as the set-up times and the resulting requirements are considerably reduced thanks to the sophisticated operating concept.
This is made possible, among other things, by the modern touchscreen control with integrated tool database and program memory as well as the 45° tiltable milling spindle on both sides. The spindle (as well as the tool height) can be positioned fully automatically on the basis of target value entries via the touchscreen of the control. Only the safety milling fence must be adjusted manually, whereby the position of the total fence is indicated digitally on the handwheel.
By storing the tool data of various milling cutters and assigning a program, individual machining operations can be called up and executed quickly and easily. The tool memory comprises 5 tools with 20 possible programs each and can optionally be extended to up to 500 tools with 100 programs each.
The spindle, which is tiltable by 45° to the rear, offers the advantage of increased safety as well as the simultaneous use of a (optionally available) power feeder when the spindle is tilted.
Apart from the positioning tasks of the height and tilt axis and the tool database, the network-compatible control still has countless features and safety functions. During operation, it forms the interface between man and machine by monitoring all machine components and shutting down the machine in case of pending problems (malfunctions, errors and dangers). The operator is informed via a message window what is wrong and how to eliminate the pending problem.
The generously dimensioned 7.5 kW three-phase motor is equipped with a wear-free electronic brake and offers sufficient power for all tasks at hand. It is also characterised by its very smooth running. The spindle speed can be conveniently and continuously adjusted in the range 1500 to 10000 rpm via the control.
The high-quality machine components and the generous basic equipment, including all necessary safety devices, leave hardly anything to be desired. Numerous options and useful special accessories are also available.

7" TOUCHSCREEN CONTROL
Capacitive touchscreen (scratch and impact resistant), can also be operated with gloves. With language selection menu in German, English and French (other languages on request). It also contains a tool database for up to 5 tools (20 programs are possible per tool). Height and tilt adjustment with electrical position and speed indication, as well as zeroing of height and offset dimension.
PARTIAL FENCE ADJUSTMENT
The partial fence adjustment with chip removal from +5 mm to -25 mm is carried out via a star knob screw on the left-hand side.
SPEED CONTROL
Electronic, infinitely variable speed control from 1,500 - 10,000 rpm (11 kW frequency converter).
OPTION: TABLE EXTENSION
Table extension on both sides with extendable frame support.
OPTION: TABLE SLIDE PLATE
